Refinishing has become a flourishing industry since we first painted our kitchen over 25 years ago. Back in 1996, there were no local refinishers, so getting started involved numerous trials and errors, continuous learning and improvement efforts, as well as educating the community.
The products and techniques have undergone significant changes, mostly for the better. The introduction of water-based products has greatly improved the industry, replacing the old days of solvents and lacquers as environmental awareness grows.

Refinishing can be intricate but not too tricky. The images below display a variety of work dating back to pre-cell phone and even pre-digital camera days when quality photos were hard to come by! Many people have passed through, and quite a few of the refinishers in town today actually began with my Dad and me back in the day (well, at least 6 that I can think of).
